Very professional staff and nice atmosphere for a couple quiet drinks. Guinness is nice and the cocktails are top! If you’re lucky there might even be some live music.

Opted for vegan afternoon tea, from my first bite of the sandwich options to the cakes i had they were so tasty, because I don’t eat meat substitutes I asked if it was possible to swap the sausage rolls for a scone and they did, it’s one of the nicest afternoon teas I’ve had and I’ll definitely go back to try other things on the menu, unfortunately I ate half of it before taking a pic

This used to be really good. Unfortunately it's gone downhill, staff couldn't get orders right ,hellova long wait for food,and not very tasty when it did come, won't be back.

Very trendy busy rustic restaurant with attached cool bar. Popped in December enjoyed a drink from huge gin menu and booked Valtentines after spotting restaurant and food being served. Scallops, arincini 5/5, Chateaubriand looked amazing cooked perfect but went cold quick unsure if the board or just every time door opened rush of air hit our area. Manager and staff great and attentive drinks slightly slow but manager chased up. Definitely go back but sit in upper area away from door. Thanks guys.

One of my favourite bars in the toon. It's a gin mecca. The raspberry gin and lemonade is to die for.
Lovely micro terrace out the back if you need some fresh air. Funky tunes, and they often play my favourite local band 'smooch and turrell' on their playlist.
Service can sometimes be slow on a weekend, more staff def required, and they should ease up on the ice a little. Too much ice really spoils the taste and temperature of your gin.

Went here for Restaurant Week! Good vibes for a nice couple's or friends meal. The sticky toffer pudding was one of the best ive had, wRm decadent and amazinn toffee!

We had a lovely Afternoon Tea today everthing was fresh.Good selection of Sandwiches, cakes and very nice fruit scones with pots of clotted cream and Jam.Big shout out to George who looked after us he was very attentive.

Visited on Friday evening and had an amazing meal and pudding - together with signature cocktails. Food was outstanding and great value for the quality. Lovely atmosphere and furnishings- great building and location too. Well done chef and waiting staff- highly recommend

We booked here for 4 festive vegan afternoon teas on 23rd December. We arrived a little early but were seated and asked what drinks we'd like. Three of us asked for decaf tea and we all requested oat milk. Our server came back to inform us there was no decaf breakfast tea and they had all other plant milks except oat.
Our server was lovely through out the afternoon; however, we were all unfortunately a bit underwhelmed by the afternoon tea.
The sandwiches were not what was listed on the menu online, and although I know things can be subject to change the sandwich offerings were a little poor. One option was some lettuce, tomato and a piece of beetroot with no spread ("butter") and the other was some quite sweet, what seemed like, chutney? which our server told us was jackfruit but it didn't look like jackfruit and the amount on the sandwich was pretty small. It felt like someone didn't really know how to feed vegans which is a shame as I ate from the evening menu here a week previously a had a good experience.
There was no spread ("butter") with the scones, just jam, and so they were a little dry. The sausage roll, cheesecake and brownie were decent but the sticky toffee pudding was not really sticky or toffee and was also a bit dry. Again these cakes were not listed on the menu.
I wouldn't recommend the afternoon teas to vegans but the evening menu was nice when I ate here before.

It's been a lovely time in this restaurant. Very relaxing and chill.
The staff is brill, friendly, and caring.
I don't find the Winter salad special, but it was good, though.
However, I would love to come back and have the Pan Seared Salmon again.
As for me, it's been the best salmon I've tried up to now. Absolutely gorgeous!
It's impossible to describe that unforgettable taste.It's definitely something special.

The worst experience ever, I am a vegetarian and my sandwiches were bread and butter, a sliver of egg in another and a tomato and grated cheese that fell apart because it was so dry! The presecco was flat and warm and the scones were not fresh. Never again
